Callie – 4yrs – Female

This beautiful girl is Callie, a nervous girl who is looking for a particular type of home. Prior to joining us here at the animal centre, Callie was a long term stray that came into us to nurse and raise her kittens. Now they’ve all gone off to their own families, we’re looking to find the perfect set-up for Callie. As such, we are considering two potential types of home for Callie; either a foster home, or a standard adoption. In a foster home, Callie would be looking for a quiet, calm adult-only household with no other furry friends that would allow Callie all the patience and understanding to adjust to her new environment in her own time. The foster set-up would allow us to monitor Callie over a indefinite period of time to see if she ultimately would settle in an indoor home. Alternatively, we believe Callie could be adopted straight from our care in the same circumstances, however, adopters will need to allow her all the patience she requires to settle and understand that she will find how comfortable she is with any level of affection with time.
