Ruby – 11yrs – Female – Border Terrier

This wonderful golden oldie is Ruby, a beautiful little lady who deserves the best home for her retirement years. She is a sweet, cheeky girl who has come on leaps and bounds since her arrival with us. Ruby approaches life in an enthusiastic and keen manner, whether that be when she is going for walks, waiting to eat a delicious meal, or simply saying hello when approached! Ruby is very much young at heart; she is full of energy and is very playful, even preferring to play over fuss and attention. She does like a stroke on occasion, but will let you know when she is done. We expect her appreciation for fuss may develop when in a home environment. As a confident girl, she isn’t overly concerned when meeting new people. When out on a walk, she is more focused on enjoying the walk itself than who she meets along the way! Ruby is a clever girl and knows how to walk nicely on the lead, but would benefit mentally and physically from continued training classes. Although, as Ruby is deaf, this will be more for the socialisation aspect than for learning commands. With your adoption you are entitled to five free training classes in the local area with ENVE Canine Services. Ruby is a wonderful girl who deserves so much love, we’re looking for a home where she could potentially live with another furry friend, and she could potentially live with children too.
