About RSPCA Isle of Thanet Branch

We are a branch of the RSPCA raising money locally to support our animal welfare work.
Our branch is run by a committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the management and administration of the branch’s affairs.

The 15 pen Cattery has it’s own socialisation room where volunteers play with the animals to assess the animals character for re-homing. Also to make their stay at the centre as sociable as possible allowing the animal freedom and stimulation.

The Isolation Block comprising of 4 Dog kennels and a further 4 Cat pods.

An administration block has accommodation and facilities for staff, managers and visitors

Not forgetting the Vet’s Room.

The RSPCA Isle of Thanet Branch is a LOCAL charity dependent entirely on its own resource
All the money needed to build and run the centre has been and is raised locally by our shops in Westgate, Ramsgate, Margate and Birchington, fundraising events, legacies and donations from the public, local school and business support and sponsorship.
Our running costs are currently around £300,000 a year.
