Ivy – 1yrs – Female

Ivy is a gentle, sensitive girl who is looking for a quiet home where she can settle at her own pace and continue to build her confidence. She is currently enjoying life in a foster home, where she has done a wonderful job raising her kittens and is now ready to find a forever home of her own. Having come into our care as a stray with limited human interaction, she can be wary of unfamiliar people, particularly men, and takes time to form trusting relationships. However, once she feels comfortable, she enjoys affection and companionship, often choosing to relax close by rather than being the centre of attention.

Ivy is an independent cat who likes attention on her own terms and will happily seek you out when she is in the mood for fuss, before taking herself off for some quiet time. She can be picked up briefly but prefers not to be handled for long periods, and grooming remains a work in progress as she continues to gain confidence. Ivy also has a very playful side, and she is often seen racing around her foster home enjoying the occasional burst of zoomies. Ivy is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will appreciate her for who she is and will allow her to settle in at her own pace. Due to her sensitive nature, Ivy is seeking an adult only home with no other animals.
