Edgar – 5yrs – Male

Edgar is a gentle, anxious cat who’s searching for a home that offers him the freedom of an outdoor-based life. Ideally, he needs a patient, understanding carer who can provide a safe shed, barn, or outhouse space that he can claim as his own while he works out what he wants from the world.

At this stage, it’s unclear whether Edgar will ever seek out human affection, but he does need someone willing to keep an eye on him and make sure he’s cared for. His set‑up should include a secure area filled with cosy resting spots, plenty of hiding places, and everything required for his daily comfort. His carer will also need to be able to feed him and quietly check in on him without pressure or expectations. Once he’s settled and confident enough to explore, Edgar would benefit from having lots of room to roam and quiet spaces to retreat to if he feels overwhelmed.
