Max – 6yrs – Male

Our Max is a big boy, with an even larger personality! Sassy and independent, although it can take some time for Max to settle into a new environment, once he has you’ll regularly finding him chilling in the comfiest spot he can find, either watching the world go by or snoozing. If approached, Max will interact, but particularly so if there are treats involved. Max is happy to interact with fuss on his own terms, and will make you aware when he isn’t interested. As a long-haired boy, Max will need regularly grooming, however, this can sometimes be a stressful experience for him, and should be approached with unlimited patience. Max is apprehensive when being introduced to new people, and is best left to decide when to interact on his own terms. He does, however, love to play, with his favourite toys being anything that is attached to a string that he can chase/grab. We’re looking for a family that will understand Max’s independent personality, and give him the space he may want as and when he does. As such we believe he would be best suited to live with older, understanding secondary school children, and with no other animals in the home. Max will need access to an outdoor space to enjoy whenever he chooses to.
