O’Malley – 6yrs – Male

O’Malley is a handsome boy with a big personality who is looking for an adult only home where he can be the centre of attention. He enjoys companionship on his own terms and will often seek out affection, happily rubbing against people and furniture to make his presence known. O’Malley is not shy about voicing his opinions either, whether he’s reminding you it’s mealtime or asking for a little extra attention. He will even offer a trick or two for the right treat! He loves his toys, particularly kickeroos and cardboard scratchers, and he also enjoys a good grooming session when he has plenty of space to relax.

O’Malley has found the transition to a smaller environment more challenging and has shown that he is much more comfortable when given the room to spread out and choose how he spends his time. While he enjoys being near his people and can often be found relaxing comfortably in his bed making biscuits, he is also a cat who appreciates having his boundaries respected. He tolerates necessary handling but does not enjoy being restrained or regularly picked up, and his body language is usually very clear when he is becoming overstimulated. O’Malley is therefore searching for a patient, understanding owner who will take the time to get to know his quirks and recognise when he would prefer some space. Due to his preference for being the only focus of attention, O’Malley is looking for a home with no other pets and adult adopters only.
