Poppy – 8yrs – Female

Sweet darling Poppy is a gentle soul who deserves to find a family that adores her. It took Poppy a little bit of time to feel comfortable with us when first arriving, but soon became generally relaxed once she was used to the routine of our cattery. Poppy loves a good snooze, and is often found having the cosiest cat nap when undisturbed. Once she realises you are close, you are usually greeted with a chirp or a meow, along with a rub and purr. Poppy loves a gentle stroke, and will continually rub against you to make sure the strokes keep coming. She also enjoys a brush! Poppy enjoys meeting new people, greeting them with the same chirp or meow as someone she knows, along with looking to see if you are going to fuss her. We believe that Poppy has poor eye sight and partial hearing, but it doesn’t stop her finding her way and enjoying her surroundings once she is confident in them. Poppy has a mild health condition that we would be happy to discuss with any potential adopters. We believe Poppy would be suited to a home where she could be the only furry friend, but could live with calm, understanding children from a primary school age. Poppy would benefit from having regular company throughout the day, and access to an outdoor space to explore as and when she likes.
